[ManageIT 2024] 'LOLA ICT' award is gewonnen door Data to Impact: Social Progress Index in Lichfield - UK LDC.

Naast de Golden Bit & Byte en lokale ICT persoonlijkheid van het jaar Awards, waar we de meest vooruitstrevende en vernieuwende ICT-projecten uit Vlaanderen in de kijker zetten, reiken we ook een internationale prijs uit: de prestigieuze LOLA Award.

Deze wereldwijde onderscheiding zet baanbrekende prestaties en innovaties in de ICT-sector bij lokale overheden in de schijnwerpers. Veel indrukwekkende projecten hebben al bewezen wat slimme teams en revolutionaire technologieën kunnen betekenen voor een digitale toekomst.

De 2024 LOLA ICT Awards belonen creativiteit, toewijding en de impact van technologie op ons dagelijks leven.

Dit jaar heeft de jury vijf finalisten geselecteerd:

  2. Data to Impact: Social Progress Index in Lichfield UK - Lichfield District Council (LDC)
  3. Navigating Change: Introducing Our Road Closure Web Application | USA
  4. Town of Milton Digital Records Management Solution | CANADA
  5. The Handshake | SWEDEN - Swedens municipalities

 
De winnaar van de LOLA ICT award 2024 is Data to Impact: Social Progress Index in Lichfield

UK - SOCITM - Lichfield District Council (LDC) faced challenges in addressing social and economic outcomes due to a lack of detailed data on health, education, housing, and wellbeing, leading to inefficiencies in resource allocation. In partnership with Impera Analytics, the council used data from the Social Progress Index (SPI) to assess key areas and target resources effectively. Outcomes included identifying social progress gaps, fostering collaboration, and enhancing the council’s ability to measure the impact of policies on residents’ wellbeing.

The winner of the LOLA ICT Award 2024 is: Data to Impact: Social Progress Index in Lichfield

UK - SOCITM - The Lichfield District Council (LDC) in the UK faced significant challenges in addressing social and economic outcomes due to a lack of detailed data on health, education, housing, and wellbeing. This resulted in inefficiencies in resource allocation. In collaboration with Impera Analytics, the council utilized data from the Social Progress Index (SPI) to assess critical areas and allocate resources more effectively. The project outcomes included identifying gaps in social progress, fostering collaboration, and enhancing the council’s ability to measure the impact of policies on residents’ wellbeing.

The next edition of ManageIT is scheduled for December 11, 2025.
